Roles and Permissions for Onboarding and E-Verify

This article explains the roles and permissions and field group bundles your team needs to use the Onboarding and E-Verify integrations

If you'd like to provision access to manage new hire onboarding to employees at your organization that do not have full administrative capabilities, you may add the following Global General Permissions to their Access Role:

  • Edit onboarding templates - Grants the user access to view, create, edit and delete onboarding templates used to induct new hires onto the platform.

  • Administer onboarding sessions - Allows the user to administer and manage onboarding sessions for new hires.

    • Note: If your Onboarding template includes Division or Department as required fields, non-administrative users cannot manage the session. Sessions can be managed by a non-administrative Access Role with this permission if these fields are on the template, but not required.

  • Manage E-Verify - Grants the user access to create, submit and manage cases through Namely's E-Verify integration.

  • Manage apps - Must be checked along with "Compliance admin" to enable access to the Comply Database and administrative access to Advice & Action features.

  • Tasks Can Create - Enables the Tasks feature, accessible from the users' personal springboard on the Namely homepage.
